Feelings, the Good and the Bad
In the same way that reading a well-written book can transform your mood, our thoughts influence how we feel.
In this video, I talk you through the good, the bad, and the ugly of our emotions:
-How different stories trigger different feelings and how those different feelings invoke different re(actions)
-How we get into excuse-it or fix-it mode to get away from our feelings
-Why we may be thinking in terms of good and bad feelings and why that might not be a good idea
–How to get away from thinking of uncomfortable feelings as bad
-Why we actually want the uncomfortable feelings
–What happens when you change the situation (the circumstance), or your thinking
-That the first step to anything is usually to feel your feelings
–What you have probably been doing up until now instead of feeling your feelings
