When You’re Over Threshold as the Human
When you’re what we would call “over threshold” as a human, what are some tools you can use to regulate your emotions?
This video offers up ideas to help you regulate your body when you end up with big feelings and when processing them isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.
I invite you to take what I offer in this video merely as a starting point for your journey to find what works for you.
– Is it breathwork, and if so what kind of breathwork?
– Does mediation work you?
– Or do you need to play a piece of music, do some other type of somatic work?
– What about power posing?
– EFT and tapping?
– How does scrolling social media to regulate your emotional state differ from buffering?
– Does using the PEACE acronym help you remember your options in the heat of the moment or does it yet another thing to your already overly full emotional plate?
